This delicious 4-Ingredient Caramel Apple Cheesecake Dip is a simple fall dessert that's perfect for parties and snacking!
When I think of fall flavors, pumpkin spice usually gets all of the attention. However, I feel caramel apples are really quite underrated and are actually my favorite when comparing the two. This Caramel Apple Cheesecake Dip combines the decadence of cheesecake with the sweet and sour flavors of a caramel apple. The best part? It only requires 4-ingredients and NO baking is involved! Simply mix and start dipping. This is a fun and simple fall dessert that's great for snacking, and is perfect for taking to parties!
Even though this recipe only needs a few ingredients, it's packed with caramel apple flavor! To make this decadent dip, you will need:
- Cream cheese: this is the key to that cheesecake flavor. Make sure cream cheese softened to room temperature. For even more flavor, go for the full-fat cream cheese!
- Brown sugar: this will add a contrasting sweetness and caramelized flavor. For a deeper caramel flavor, you can use dark brown sugar.
- Caramel Sauce: make sure to use a caramel sauce instead of a caramel dip. The dip is too thick for this recipe.
- Toppings: I recommend using something with a bit of crunch, like chopped nuts (I used pecans), toffee bits, mini chocolate chips, flaky sea salt, etc.
Combine the cream cheese and brown sugar in a medium mixing bowl using a hand mixer or stand mixer until soft and fluffy. If you want to add some extra fall flavor, you can add in some apple pie spice, cinnamon, or nutmeg. Spread the mixture in an even layer into a serving dish, smoothing out the surface.
Next, pour the caramel sauce over the cream cheese mixture. Spread it out evenly over the entire surface.
Top the dip with your favorite toppings. I used chopped pecans, but you can use practically anything that you would enjoy combined with a caramel apple: nuts, toffee bits, graham cracker crumbs, mini chocolate chips, chocolate candies, flaky sea salt, and so much more! If you are saving the dip to serve at a later time, keep the toppings separate until ready to serve.
Serve the dip with fresh fruit/apple slices, pretzels, vanilla wafers, graham crackers (regular or cinnamon),
