These no-bake, 3-ingredient Lucky Charms Cereal Treats are perfect for celebrating St. Patrick's Day!
When it comes to holiday desserts, cereal treats are certainly one of the easiest! Made with iconic Lucky Charms cereal and gooey marshmallows, these Lucky Charms Treats are a magically sweet treat that little leprechaun-seekers are sure to love. This is also a simple recipe that the kids can help whip up as a fun St. Patrick's Day activity!
To make these Lucky Charms Treats, you will need just 3 simple ingredients: Lucky Charms cereal, butter, and of course, marshmallows! You will also need a large saucepan and a 9x13 baking dish.
First, melt the butter in a large saucepan. Add in the mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
Add in the cereal, and stir until it is all evenly coated in the marshmallow mixture. For extra chewiness, you can add in a small handful of mini marshmallows to the mixture at this point.
Pour the mixture into a 9x13 baking dish that has been greased or lined with parchment paper. For best results, I usually lightly grease the parchment paper with cooking spray. Gently flatten the treat mixture with a rubber spatula, or grease your hands first and then use your fingers. Top the treats with extra Lucky Charms marshmallows!
Let the treats sit on the counter to cool completely, which takes about an hour.
Remove the treats from the baking dish, and cut them into 12 equal-sized bars. Store the Lucky Charms Treats in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
