The top section of the planner has a place to choose the day of the week, and below is a section to fill out a basic meal plan for the day and to keep track of you water intake. The section on the right has really helped! I tend to get overwhelmed at the sight of a giant to-do list, and this one breaks it up in to "have to's" and "want to's". This way, I can separate what needs to be done by urgency.
The bottom half of the planner has a section to plan out a little bit of self care each day. I've found that it's been very beneficial for me to schedule this into the plan for each day, and can't say how important this has been. If I don't plan it out, I will forget or make it a low priority - which isn't good for anyone.
Along with taking time for myself, I've also found it important to reflect on the day and focus on the positive things that happened. It's so easy to blanket a day as "bad" and to feel crappy about it, so when I'm forced to come up with three positives it kind of helps me end the day on a little bit of a higher note.
The section on the right is to list important things to be done this week. Not necessarily to be done today, but as a way to keep those things in mind as you go about your day. When you fill out the planner for the next week, refer to this list and transfer any information as necessary.
The "reminders" section at the bottom right is a great place to add new information for the upcoming week, and can be transferred to the next day's list of weekly goals as well.
Last, but not least, is a blank area to take notes - or if you're like me, sometimes you just need a place to scribble and doodle when you need to keep your hands busy while concentrating. This is the perfect area to draw to your heart's content!
I hope you find this daily planner as helpful as it is for me! I try make time when I first wake up to plan out the day. If you're easily overwhelmed by planning the whole day at a time, keep the planner page next to you and fill things in as the day goes on. No matter how you decide to plan, just make it a routine and stick to it.
