Whip up some gooey s'mores in just minutes using an air fryer!
Do you ever want to make s'mores, but don't have a campfire going? Well, here's a quick and easy way to make this popular summer dessert in just minutes! All you need are your favorite s'more ingredients and an air fryer. Really - that's it! Making s'mores this way is convenient for parties, family living room "camping", or just to make yourself a late night treat. They come out perfectly gooey, just like when you make one while sitting around the campfire.
If you don't have an air fryer, no problem! An air fryer is basically a miniature countertop oven anyway, so you can easily bake these in a conventional oven instead.
Squish the warm cracker halves together and enjoy the ooey gooey s'mores immediately! If you wait too long, the graham crackers will begin to absorb the moisture from the chocolate and marshmallows, making them soggy.

Get out one marshmallow per s'more you want to make. Use a knife or scissors to cut each of the jumbo marshmallows in half horizontally. Do not use mini marshmallows, and DO NOT skip this step!
Place both marshmallow halves, sticky side down, on each graham cracker square. Press the marshmallows down well so that they are sticking onto the graham crackers securely. This will help the marshmallows stay in place so that they don’t fly around in the air fryer and cause a gooey mess.
Air fry the marshmallow-topped graham crackers at 360ºF for 4 minutes or until the tops are golden brown. Every air fryer heats differently, so be sure to check halfway through to check that it’s not melting too much.
Tip: For easier clean-up, I recommend cooking the s'mores using an air fryer liner.
Once the marshmallows have that golden glow, open the air fryer and immediately top the marshmallows with 3 Hershey's bar pieces/sections/pips*. Cook the s'mores for one additional minute to get a perfect melt.
*Fun fact: Ever wonder what the breakable sections of a Hershey's bar are called? Each one is called a "pip"!
Carefully remove the crackers from the air fryer and set on a plate or sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Immediately top the freshly cooked s'mores with the other graham cracker halves.
These are the easiest way to make s'mores, and look how perfectly gooey they are! The melted marshmallow and chocolate ooze out onto your fingers, just as if you were sitting around the campfire.
