Celebrate everything you love about mom with this Free Printable Mother's Day Flower Activity!
Looking for a special gift from the kids for Mother's Day? One of my favorite gifts from my daughter for Mother's Day were the questionnaires she'd fill out (with the help of my husband) that had the hilariously adorable answers. This Free Printable Mother's Day Flower Activity combines a creative questionnaire with a flower craft that every kid will love making for mom. The project includes coloring, cutting, and writing, so it's also a great educational activity. Moms, grandmas, and aunts everywhere are going to love receiving one of these flowers on Mother's Day!
To complete this Mother's Day Flower Activity, you will need these supplies:
- Free Printable Mother's Day Flower Activity (for personal use only)
- White Cardstock
- Coloring Tools - colored pencils, crayons, or markers
- Scissors

Download the Mother's Day Flower Activity printable. Print it out on white paper - for best results, I recommend cardstock. Color the page containing the separate petals with your favorite colored pencils, crayons, or markers.
Use some scissors to carefully cut around the outside border of the base piece, each of the colored petals, and the center circle piece.
Apply some adhesive to the bottom end of each petal ONLY. Align the the petal on top of the base, and press the bottom end of the petal down well to make sure it stays in place. Repeat the process until all of the petals are in place.
Next, apply adhesive to the back of the circle piece. Place it in the center of the flower, on top of the bottom edges of the petals. Press the piece down well, and allow the glue to set completely (especially if it's liquid).
Place your fingertips down on the center of the flower, and gently fold the petals up to reveal the base petal below. Now, use the lines on the blank petals on the base piece to fill in the answers to the prompts.
Once all of the petals have been filled in, the project is completed! If you want to add a special message for the recipient - mom, grandma, aunt, etc - just turn the flower over for some extra space.
