Free Printable Marauder's Map Recipe Cards

Jot down your favorite magical recipes on these Free Printable Marauder's Map-Inspired Recipe Cards!

Unless you're new here, you'll know that Harry Potter is one of my favorite things. I'm always inspired by the magical world to create new things for my own home, and now for the kitchen with these FREE printable recipe cards inspired by the Marauder's Map. I've even designed a recipe book cover so that you can compile all of your favorite recipes into your very own magical recipe book! I had a lot of fun putting this project together, and hope that you love it as much as I do!!

For those who haven't read the books or watched the Harry Potter movies, here's the description of Marauder's Map according to Harry Potter Wiki: The Marauder's Map was a magical document that revealed all of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Not only did it show every classroom, every hallway, and every corner of the castle, but it also showed every inch of the grounds, as well as all the secret passages that were hidden within its walls and the location of every person in the grounds, portrayed by a dot.

Download and print the Marauder's Map recipe card set. The set contains one page of just recipe cards and another that includes a recipe book cover! For best results, I recommend printing the cards on cardstock. Use a paper cutter or scissors to cut the cover and recipe cards out.

Now for the fun part: filling out the recipe cards with your favorite recipes! At the top of the cards is where you put the title and category of your recipe, and then list ingredients below. Next is the directions. I like to write out my directions in a paragraph, but you could number the steps instead if you prefer. At the bottom you can circle how many servings, add prep and cook times, and jot down any special notes or instructions for the recipe.

Both the cover and the cards measure 4x6, so they fit perfectly into a clear photo album. I love using these because not only does it keep all of your recipe cards safely in one place, but you can put the book on the counter to use and not worry about splattering on the cards because they are protected by the plastic. Plus, these albums can be found at most dollar stores, so they are an affordable gift idea!
