Dress up your front door for autumn with a colorful Fall Wreath!
Are you ready for a fall craft project to make this weekend? This DIY Fall Wreath is easy, and looks beautiful on the front door. With just a few supplies, including brightly colored mums, you can whip up a wreath for yourself. It's also easy enough to make during a craft night with the girls! I'm so excited about this new piece of decor for my home, and I hope you love it just as much as I do.
To make your own Fall Wreath, you will need these supplies:
- 14" Foam Wreath Form
- Fall Flowers (I personally like mums)
- Glittered Leaf and Berry Picks
- Mini Glittered Pumpkins
- Hemp Cord
- Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
Tightly wrap about 2/3 of the wreath form with hemp cord, using glue on the back to hold it in place as you go. Be careful not to burn yourself! I recommend using finger caps if you are prone to burns. If you are having trouble winding the cord while it's still attached to the roll, you can cut long lengths of cord to use at a time to make it a lot more manageable.
Next, arrange the fall flowers on the wreath and attach them with glue. Fill in any larger spaces with pumpkins, and accent the rest as needed with the glittered leaves and berry picks.
Cut a short length of hemp cord and make a loop. Decide where the top of your wreath is going to be, and glue the loop to the back of the wreath. Make sure it's VERY secure! Hang the wreath on your front door, or wherever you'd like to display your newest piece of fall decor.
I'm loving how this fall wreath turned out, and those gorgeous colors are just what my front door needed! This wreath is pretty simple to make, and would be a fun project for a craft night with the girls. As always, I would love to see your creations if you decide to make this project!
