Bake up some LOVE this Valentine's Day with these easy Valentine Sprinkle Cookies!
In my experience, the best way to someone's heart is through cookies. Sprinkles are the glitter of the baking world, and these Valentine Sprinkle Cookies will not disappoint! They are easy to make, and the kids will love getting to help. Best of all, how cute are they all packaged up with our Expressionery Love Baked Custom Stamp?
Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
2 3/4 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
Variety of Valentine sprinkles
Directions:
Like I said before, cookies are a gift that everyone loves! To package our cookies for gifting, we started with a simple kraft favor box (you could also make a favor box using your Cricut). Next, we used this adorable Expressionery Love Baked Custom Stamp to add a little extra love to our blank gift box!
Isn't this favor box adorable?! I absolutely love how perfect the stamp comes out every time, and I can use it to label all of the treats my daughter and I bake together to share with friends and family!
After assembling the box, fill it with some colorful shredded paper and then add some cookies. My daughter and I really enjoy baking together, and are so excited with how these Valentine Sprinkle Cookies turned out. I'd love to hear if you make some cookies to share with your friends and family!! 1 1/2 cups sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
2 3/4 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
Variety of Valentine sprinkles
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400º
- Cream butter and sugar until light & fluffy.
- Beat in egg, vanilla, and almond extract.
- Mix flour, baking powder, and salt together. Add to butter mixture one cup at a time.
- Use a cookie scoop or roll the dough into a 2" ball.
- Press the ball down into the sprinkles. This will cover the dough with a lot of sprinkles and helps you to flatten the dough to about 1/4" thick at the same time.
- Bake cookies on an ungreased cookie sheet for 8-10 minutes.
