Free Printable New Year's Eve Party Hats

What you will need to make your own New Year’s Eve Party Hats:

• New Year’s Eve Party Hats Printable (personal use only please)
• Cardstock 
• Colored Pencils, Markers, or Crayons
• Scissors
• Scoring Tool
• Tape Runner or Paper Adhesive
• Elastic Cord or Ribbon
• Pom Poms (optional)
• Embellishments: Glitter Glue, Sequins, etc (optional)

Download the New Year’s Eve Party Hats printable and print on cardstock for best results.

Color the hat templates with colored pencils, markers, or crayons. While kids are more than happy to color, parents can have a lot of fun with this, too!

Cut out the hat templates by carefully following the outline. Next, use a scoring tool to make a crease along the dotted line. Fold along the scored line, and then lay it flat again.

Run a line of tape runner or add some glue to the tab next to the dotted line.

Curl the hat around and bring the two ends together. Align the edge of the hat with the dotted line and press the tape or glued edge underneath the other end and hold until secure.

Punch a small hole on either side of the hat and tie a length of elastic cord or ribbon through so the hat can be worn. Embellish the hats with glitter glue, sequins, or whatever you’d like! You can also add a colorful pom pom to the top!
