My daughter and I love to spend time together reading books. We try to make time to read at least one chapter a day, and before we know it, we're finished with the entire series! Our goal this summer is to read through the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. To remind us to take this challenge one chapter at a time, I've designed some Percy Jackson Reading Challenge Bookmarks to pair with the books to see our progress as we work through the series!
My daughter has had a blast learning about Greek Mythology in this school year, and has been looking forward to reading the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series by Rick Riordan. This 5-book series will take kids on a highly entertaining Greek Mythology adventure that offers readers a fresh and exciting way to learn about the Olympians, the Titans, the Minotaur, and more!
Download and print the Percy Jackson and the Olympians Reading Challenge Bookmarks on cardstock. Use a paper trimmer or scissors to cut out the bookmarks. In the printable, there are five bookmarks on a page - one bookmark for each of the five books in the series. Each bookmark has a space for each chapter that can be colored in with markers or colored pencils as you read through the book!
Some things you should know before downloading:

The first book in the Percy Jackson series is The Lightning Thief:
Percy Jackson is about to be kicked out of boarding school… again. And that's the least of his troubles. Lately, mythological monsters and the gods of Mount Olympus seem to be walking straight out of the pages of Percy's Greek mythology textbook and into his life. And worse, he's angered a few of them. Zeus's master lightning bolt has been stolen, and Percy is the prime suspect. Now Percy and his friends have just ten days to find and return Zeus's stolen property and bring peace to a warring Mount Olympus. But to succeed on his quest, Percy will have to do more than catch the true thief: he must come to terms with the father who abandoned him; solve the riddle of the Oracle, which warns him of betrayal by a friend; and unravel a treachery more powerful than the gods themselves.
My daughter is counting down the days until we start the Percy Jackson reading challenge. Want to add in a little extra fun?
