Have a Spirit Riding Free Tween Brunch Party, complete with DIY shirts (with FREE cut file) and Strawberry Shortcake Waffles!
Making your own shirts is very easy, and really fun for little parties like this. I designed this Spirit Riding Free-inspired cut file and then cut it out of iron-on vinyl with my Cricut machine. Then, I pressed the vinyl onto shirts with my Cricut EasyPress. That's it! Easy, right? I made a shirt for all of our party guests to wear, and they all looked adorable.

For our brunch party, we stopped at Walmart to grab some essentials. To save time on our Strawberry Shortcake Waffles, I opted for chocolatey chip and cinnamon toast Eggo waffles since they toast up in just a couple of minutes. I also grabbed some Reddi-Wip made with real cream (or high quality coconut cream in non-dairy varieties) to pair wonderfully with the strawberries.
To make the Strawberry Shortcake Waffles, start by toasting up the waffles to make them warm, fluffy and delicious. While the waffles are heating up, wash and slice up some strawberries. When the waffles are done, add one to a plate and add some Reddi-Wip and sliced strawberries. Lay the other waffle on top, and add more strawberries and cream.
These are fantastic for brunch, or even for a lighter dessert! I love how you get bites of chocolate mixed in when you use the chocolatey chip Eggo waffles. The cinnamon toast Eggo waffles are made to break into pieces of four, so they are perfect to make Strawberry Shortcake Waffle Bites with a hint of cinnamon and sugar. I'd love to hear if you make some Strawberry Shortcake Waffles for yourself!
