These Free Printable Donut Valentines are a "sweet" Valentine's Day surprise!
Oh, donuts. They will always have my heart. With Valentine's Day coming up, I wanted to share a fun and FREE Valentine printable that is as sweet as, well, a donut! These Valentines are full of punny goodness. And with a little help from Oriental Trading, we've got an idea that is completely sugar-free!
Now that all of the cards have been cut out, you can do a few things: If you punch a hole in the top, you can use these as a gift tag to tie to a box of donuts. You could also tie a cute pencil with donut erasers to the top of the card. There a lot of fun donut-themed items out there, but we decided to go with Donut Rings!
These adorable Donut Rings are the perfect addition to these Valentines! These rubber rings come in purple, teal and pink and are adorned with sprinkles (of course).
Now for the fun part - attaching the rings to the Valentines! Use a craft blade to cut a 3/8" x 1/2" rectangle in the top section of the card.
Since the rings are made of rubber, it's easy to fit them into the cards. Bend the ring a little bit and fit it through the hole in the card. Carefully pull it all the way through so that the back of the donut part of the ring is flat against the front of the card. The ring should stay in place as-is, but if it feels a little loose you can add a piece of tape to the back of the card.
Fill out the to/from section and the Valentines are ready to be handed out! There 6 Valentines on the printable and you are welcome to use these at home and in the classroom. For best results, print the Valentines on cardstock.
