My daughter absolutely loves the DC Superhero Girls. She's seen the movies and reads the books whenever possible. They are an amazing team that inspires confidence, friendship, and adventure! Batgirl is a tech genius and an amazing detective. Even though she doesn’t have superpowers in the traditional sense, Batgirl is an amazing problem solver who never gives up. She always pushes the limits beyond what everyone expects of her.
Building the Batjet was SO much fun!! With opening cockpit, stud shooters on the wings, net launcher on the front and storage space for Batgirl’s ePad, the Batjet was probably the most difficult and rewarding builds my daughter has completed! She did the entire thing on her own, and was so proud of herself once it was done.
The evil yellow Kryptomite zooms in on the Kryptomite buggy with a grabber in front to hold Batgirl’s stolen ePad! The buggy has working wheels, so you can try your best to help the Kryptomite get away.
The Kryptomite might be a quick little troublemaker, but Batgirl is too smart for his shenanigans. You can actually fire the stud shooters and launch the net to capture the Kryptomite’s buggy!!
The star of the set is the Bumblebee mini-doll figure! She's got all the details of the DC Superhero Girls character, complete with wings and awesome hairstyle.
Bumblebee is a happy-go-lucky girl who is always up on the latest trends and music. While she can be the life of the party, she’s also one of the smartest girls at Super Hero High. She even built her own special tech suit that allows her to shrink to the size of a bee!
The angry, red Kryptomites are trying to steal crystals and are hiding them in the dumpster! They've also got a stud shooter to try to protect themselves with.
Bumblebee can fly in on her helicopter to save the day and protect the crystals! Her helicopter features and opening cockpit, spinning rotors, and two stud shooters to take down the Kryptomites.
Kryptomites can attach themselves to the helicopter with the zipline to try to take Bumblebee down! Use Bumblebee's incredible flying skills to shake them off and make your way to the dumpster.
Lashina succeeds Big Barda as the leader of the Female Furies. She always pushes herself a little harder than her teammates, as she feels she is always being measured against her predecessor. Lashina is a fierce fighter and the most powerful of the Furies.
In this set, Supergirl’s dog Krypto faces Lashina in her tank, along with the blue Kryptomite. Lashina can capture Krypto with her whip and put him in the back of the tank!
Krypto might be small, but he's tough! His doghouse is complete with a shield that opens, a fire hydrant and a catapult that will really fire a yellow ball at Lashina's tank to protect his home. He also comes with a bone (of course), and Supergirl's phone.
Krypto is in for a big fight, but we all know that good will win when it comes to DC Superhero Girls!! You can break Krypto out of the tank to free him. Defeated, Lashina and her Kryptomite minion can roll away in the tank to fight the DC Superhero Girls another day...
We are slowly, but surely building up a collection of the LEGO DC Superhero Girls team! My daughter has been having a blast building and creating scenes for the heroes to save the day. I love how much the DC Superhero Girls teach my daughter that she can be to be who she wants to be and give her the confidence that girls can do anything!!
There are 7 DC Superhero Girls bookmarks that are free for you to print for personal use. On them you'll find encouraging reading statements and your favorite characters: Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Supergirl, Bumblebee, Katana, Harley Quinn, and Poison Ivy! For best results, print the bookmarks on cardstock and laminate.
