Kids everywhere are going to love these Captain Underpants Movie Night Ideas with Free Printables!
If you are new to the world of Captain Underpants, rest assured that it is not just a bunch of crude humor. With the incredible voice talent like Kevin Hart (George) and Ed Helms (Captain Underpants and Mr. Krupp), it's a fun and light-hearted story of the great friendship between Harold and George and their connection through a love of writing and creativity told with outrageous humor that even gets parents laughing.
Popcorn is the most "pop"ular snack to enjoy with a movie, and is a delicious, high-quality snack with a great buttery taste that you can feel good about sharing with your family. Crackers are also a fun snack to share! With real peanut butter (or real cheese) sandwiched between crispy baked crackers, up to 5 grams of protein, and no high fructose corn syrup, Lance sandwich crackers are a tasty and satisfying snack solution for family movie night! They're also flavorful, wholesome, filling and portable, so any extras you have will go great in lunch boxes.
To add a little bit of Captain Underpants pizzazz, I decided to dress up our popcorn for the occasion! It's super easy to do, and it tastes amazing!! Pop a bag of Pop Secret butter popcorn according to package directions. Pour it out on a cookie sheet and carefully pick out any un-popped kernels.
Place about 20 red candy melt wafers into a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 1 minute. Stir to help distribute the heat, and cook for an additional 30 seconds until all of the wafers have melted. Carefully pour the candy melt into a baggie and cut the corner off. Drizzle the red deliciousness over the popcorn. Immediately top with red sugar sprinkles to give a bit of sparkle and extra crunch!
Let the popcorn cool while you assemble some awesome Captain Underpants printable popcorn/snack boxes!!
These popcorn boxes are going to be a hit at your movie night! To make your own, simply download the free printable Captain Underpants popcorn box template and print on white cardstock. Cut out the box following the outer guideline.
Next, use a ruler and a scoring tool to score all of the dotted lines. Carefully fold the paper along the score lines and make a crisp crease.
Carefully bring both ends of the box together. Line up the edges and place the tab underneath the opposite end of the template. Press well and hold in place until it is stuck together well.
Last, but most importantly, assemble the bottom of the box. Fold in the "U" shaped side first, then place the opposite tab through it. Then fold in both of the side tabs. I've shared the images above so you can see both the bottom and the inside of the box when it's assembled.
Another fun idea for a movie night is to play bingo!! This Captain Underpants Bingo includes all of your favorite characters, including Captain Underpants (of course), George, Harold, as well as a few new ones you might not recognize yet if you haven't seen the movie! The bingo set includes ten bingo cards, so it's easy to print and use for parties. It's fun for every age to play. The calling cards also include the names of the characters in case you don't know who they are.
(Set includes 10 bingo cards and calling cards in a single PDF file)
The blank set works a little differently. You get one bingo card with empty spaces (except for the "free" spot). Then print and cut out the bingo pieces so you can assemble the bingo cards yourself! Just glue the pieces in place and you're ready to play!
This is a great option for little hands that want to be creative, or if you have a larger group of people and don't want multiple cards that are the same. The blank bingo set includes all the same characters as the full set, but you can create your own bingo card setup.

Game Instructions
1. Pick some kind of object to mark your squares (popcorn, candy, glass gems, buttons, etc)
2. Give each player a bingo card and markers (or put your own card together with the blank set).
3. Have each player put a marker over the free space.
4. Have one person choose a calling card and say it out loud. Each player will cover that item on their card with a marker.
5. Once a player has 5 squares covered in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally), call out "BINGO!" and win the game!
