Even though she's a fanatic for everything girly, waiting patiently for a fancy hairstyle is not one of my daughter's strong suits. Usually she'll sit still long enough for a basic ponytail, buns, some kind of simple braid, and once in a while, a combination of these. One thing she does have time for, however, is cute bows and hair accessories like BunToppers! As a mom, I must say that I am impressed with how they have held strong through being pushed and pulled into messy hairstyles and being played with like toys!
This hairstyle is one of our "fancier" looks. It might look difficult if you're not a pro at hair like I am, so I'll tell you how to do it (for all of you who ARE pros, just move along...)!
1. Pull the top 2/3 of the hair up to style in a minute (or two).
2. Spray the bottom 1/3 of the hair with water and comb until smooth.
3. Use a small elastic and pull it into an itty bitty ponytail.
4. Split the ponytail in half and create two itty bitty braids. Let them chill out for a minute (or two).
5. Spray the top 2/3 of hair with water and comb until smooth. Split down the center.
6. Style each pigtail into a messy bun.
7. Pull each braid up and add it to the messy bun above it with another small elastic or a bobby pin.
8. Spray with some hairspray and add your favorite BunToppers hair accessories!
