For Halloween, it has become a tradition for our family to "Boo" our friends and family. For the first time ever, we are carrying that tradition into the Christmas holiday by surprising my sister! She and her husband work so hard, so they were the first people I thought of who deserved a bunch more holiday cheer.
We teamed up with At Home to "Elf the Yard" with outdoor Christmas decor while my sister's family was away. We had a great time decorating their yard and their reactions were priceless!
We arrived while they were away from home so that we could ensure the shenanigans would be a surprise. First things first, we plugged in some extension cords and figured out where everything was going to be placed.
This Santa on Bicycle is such a fun and eye-catching inflatable. Measuring at 72 inches tall, you will need to make sure to stake it down (the pieces are included) so that it doesn't blow away! The best part about this is that when the holidays are over and it's time to deflate it, the inflatable fits right back into the box is comes in!
Next we set up the Inflatable Christmas Tree. Just plug it in and watch it go! This measures at 6.5 ft tall and has lights inside so it looks festive and fantastic a night!
My daughter wanted to choose some of the decor, and her pic was this adorable Rudolph Inflatable. She was in charge of getting it set up (with a little help) and wanted him to look perfect for the big reveal! He's 3 feet tall with a glowing nose, and is definitely a favorite for kids!!
To light up the walkway, this 5 Piece Lit Frosted Shimmering Snowflakes are just right! The Santa Stops Here Yard Stake adds some sparkle with glittered letters and just looks so cute!!
With everything finally set up, all we had to do was wait for the lucky family to get home!!
Seeing my nephew's reaction as they pulled in the driveway was my favorite thing ever! Made this whole experience totally worth it.
You can also grab traditional Christmas Lights and Snowflake Lights to make your home shine bright during the holidays as well. At night, their house looks even more gorgeous and festive for the season.
We had such a fun time "Elfing" my sister and her family. Check out #MyReason from At Home to get inspiration to decorate your own yard or to surprise someone else you know to bring some holiday cheer!
What do you think of "Elfing" someone's yard?
