Share some Easter goodies with friends and family this year with some Easter Bunny Treat Bags!
My daughter and I enjoy making holiday crafts together. Last year we made some fun Thanksgiving Turkey Treat Bags for our Thanksgiving dinner and to give to her school teachers. Since they were so much fun, we decided to create some Easter Bunny Treat Bags for Easter! These bunnies are simple to make and I'm sure you'll love them, too! To make things easier I've also created a free printable template for you to use so you can enjoy making some for your family and friends as well!
Fold the envelope on the printed guidelines. Grab a tape runner (BTW: I'm really loving Aleene's Tacky Line Runner right now), glue stick, or whatever you like to stick paper together with and start putting your bunny treat bag together:
Lay the envelope down with the guidelines facing up. Fold the top rounded section over and that's where you put the face on. Place some tape or glue on the pointy ends of the bunny ears and stick them to the back just below the fold so they peek over the top.
When you fold the bottom section up toward the face, you can place the feet wherever you think looks cute. While that bottom section is folded, turn that little guy around and add a white pom pom or cotton ball for the tail. The image above shows what the back should look like when you lay the envelope flat.
Fill up a small cellophane bag with Easter treats, toys, or even little Easter eggs and place it in the center of the bunny envelope. Fold the bottom and top together and close with some tape or glue. Now you've created the cutest bunny treat bag ever to share with family and friends!
