There's nothing quite like a fresh, homemade brownie! My sister used to make pans of them all the time growing up, and they were gone that day. I usually take the shortcut route by making brownies from a box mix, but after making these homemade brownies, I'm never going back. The brownies come out fudgy, chewy, and irresistible!! You can even combine the dry ingredients and make your own "mix" to use for days when you feel like doing a little less work but need to get your brownie fix!
Ingredients
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
2 eggs
1/2 cup oil
1 tsp vanilla
Directions
- In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
- Stir in eggs, oil, and vanilla until well combined.
- Spread batter (it will be thick) into greased or lined 9x9 pan.
- Bake at 350º degrees for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
