Toddler Wrap Skirt

My daughter is growing like a weed! I can't believe how fast she has grown out of her nice dresses and skirts. When I first saw a sample of this wrap skirt in the Pine Needles store at Gardner Village, I knew I needed to get the pattern to try out. A wrap skirt ties at the waist, so it's easily adjustable as she grows.

I got the pattern by AJ's Bowtique at Pine Needles. The fabrics are also from Pine Needles, and I love the coordinating patterns I finally decided on. The pattern I picked up comes in sizes 6 months - 3T. I really like patterns that come in multiple sizes so we can make a new skirt for her as she grows without having to purchase another pattern. More for your money, right?

This pattern was really simple. I would say a beginner would be able to put it together with no problem. The instructions were clear (important for someone like me), and was a fairly quick evening project. Honestly, the toughest part is probably adding a button hole, but with a little practice, it won't be an issue.

I'm so happy with how the skirt turned out, and I need to send a big thanks to my mom for helping me with it (hard to sew with a broken leg). Zoey loves getting dressed up in her new skirt and twirling all over the house and yard. Can't wait to make a few more!!

I received products from Pine Needles in exchange for this post. All opinions are 100% mine.
