I created some printable recipe cards so that I can write down my favorite recipes officially and not just on scraps of paper that go flying as soon as I open my recipe book. Plus, it gives me a chance to organized and all in one place for any occasions that might come up where I need to make something impressive or just need some new ideas for dinner.
There are 4 different colors to choose from, and since everyone's recipe books and boxes are different sizes, I've made both 3x5 and 4x6. I personally love using photo albums to store my recipe cards. They fit perfectly, and the plastic covering helps keep them protected when I make a huge mess!

Great cards ... so pretty too :)
ReplyDeleteSuper cute recipe cards! I'm supposed to try to cook more at home as well-and I swear sometimes the box ends up tasting better than if I made it from scratch. Good luck to us both!
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful. Just what I was looking for. Since the start of 2013, I have made more homemade meals that I've cooked in a long time. It is one of my NY resolutions to cook more at home and cut out 'eating out'. I'm looking for ways to simplify my life and save money if you know what I mean :)

ReplyDeleteThank you! Thank you! We have a group of 6 girls who gather on Sunday nights for couponing. We each bring a dish to share. At Christmas we all made gifts and I did photo recipe books. The dishes that we make are so good hat we share the recipes. I was buying all the cards for their books. So, now we have pretty recipe cards for our books. Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteLove these! Thanks so much!!! Love your site also by the way. :)
ReplyDeleteThese are great! Is it possible to get a back page for them? A lot of my recipes would need more space for the directions, it would be great to print a back that just has the ingredient and directions lines on it for longer recipes.
ReplyDeleteThis is exactly what I was looking for, Thank you! Is there a way to download them and add text from the computer?
ReplyDeleteWhat program did you use to make these? I've got an idea of what I want to do, but can't seem to figure out the "how"
