Father's Day is almost here, and here's what my dad, father-in-law, and my husband are getting for Father's Day:
Father's Day "Stache" Candy Jar!
If you are still looking to get a gift together before Sunday, this one will be perfect!
It's really quick to put together, great on the budget, and you can't go wrong with giving dad his own personal "stache" of goodies!
I bought the quart jars and removed the price stickers on the bottom.
You can find these jars at most stores for around $3 a piece {or less if they're on sale!}
Then I cut the labels out of vinyl on the Silhouette:
One for daddy!
Zoey calls my dad "Bampa" and he has an awesome handlebar mustache!!
My husband informed me that his dad used to have a "Magnum PI" mustache,
so we couldn't resist using this one!
Then just fill your jar with dad's favorite treats and that's it!
If you'd like to make some of these for the men in your life, I've also included some printables to download and use on your own Silhouette or craft cutter. Don't have one? That's ok! I'm also including some gift tags you can attach to the jars instead!
Just click the links or the images to be taken to the download page:

*Please do not remove the Artsy-Fartsy Mama logo/watermark.

ReplyDeleteThis is such a cute idea for Father's Day! I am pinning it :)
ReplyDeleteI did this for my daycare kid's dads. Thanks for the idea, except yours was probably a little easier b/c you have a machine to cut our vinyl...I used a glass marker and drew them. But they still turned out totally cute!
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to let you know that we featured this at our Naturally-Nifty Party this week! Stop by and check it out and grab a featured button to brag with! We will also be pinning this!

I have fallen in love with your site and this is the first time I have ever visited! I am going to use this idea for my husband. He loves dark chocolate candy and other little candies and the kids are always getting in his "stache". I think I will make this for him so they know to stay out and I'll make them their own as well.
ReplyDeleteTotally going to do for my daughter's dad and her grandpa's!! Thank you for your generosity! Now to find some vinyl?!! ;)
ReplyDeleteThese are adorable! :) Shared with my readers and linked back for sure! :)

where can you get the vinyl?
ReplyDeleteI would recommend vinyl from Cricut.com, silhouetteamerica.com, MyVinylDirect.com, or Expressions Vinyl.
Deleteand how do you make it stick?
ReplyDeleteVinyl will stick on its own. If you are using the printable label, you could tape or glue it on the jar, or poke a hole and make it a tag.
DeleteWe are going to make these! My only question is about the labels also. Where do you buy the vinyl? Is it already pre cut in the letters and if not, how do you cut them so perfect? I'm wanting to go out and buy this stuff tomorrow! Also, is it printable vinyl? Sorry for all the questions...
ReplyDeletewow impressive. Thanks for your rare ideas !

ReplyDeleteIs there any way to get the Tom Selleck one? That is the one I need and I can't seem to find it anywhere else!
